Ed Durrants - Contesting Basics

As Ed's first ever book, he took on a subject that he freely admits he is not a leading expert in. While that sounds like a strange basis, when he was approached by the RSGB to write the book, he was told that previous attempts had produced drafts that went too deep, too soon and hence they wanted the book to be researched and written by someone who was in the process of extending their knowledge and take the reader along. That being said, this book covers the many facets of contesting and is aimed at those who wish to try out this part of our hobby, and make their decision as to whether it is something they would like before investing larger amounts of time and money.
