Hara Arena in Consideration for New Fairgrounds

Representatives of the Montgomery County Agricultural Society have visited at least three sites in Trotwood as possible new locations for the Montgomery County Fair, the city’s mayor said Wednesday.

Among those sites has been the Hara Arena property, Mayor Mary McDonald said. She declined to identify the other two sites. “I can tell you the fair is looking at several locations within the city of Trotwood,” McDonald said.

Marconi Exhibition and Talks

Building The Wireless Age, a Marconi exhibition, will take place in Chelmsford on Saturdays and Sundays from March 11 to May 29. 

There will also be talks by Tim Wander G6GUX on the Hall Street works, Dave Monk on his career at BBC Essex and Ray Clark on offshore radio. Other events planned in May.

Crawley Microwave Roundtable

A Microwave Roundtable event is being held at the Crawley Amateur Radio Club on Sunday 20th September 2015 

The event will feature a mixture of talks, measurements and goodies of interest to Amateur / Ham Radio enthusiasts - Admission is free of charge.

The morning session will feature a 'bring and buy' sale, with the afternoon session offering several planned presentations.
