Young Person's Morse Tutor Kit Building Event

An event aimed at young people who want to learn about radio and electronics is being held in Tandragee, County Armagh, Northern Ireland on Saturday 25th June 2022.

We are building a kit that will send out Morse Code so you can learn the code, or you can plug in a Morse key and send Morse code for yourself.

All tools and test equipment will be provided and there will be mentors in attendance to help you along the way - no previous experience is needed.

FREE LUNCH - youngsters attending this session can book a free lunch.

Parents are welcome to sit in but will need to order their own lunch and pay for it on the day.

Alamogordo Amateur Radio Club's 36th Annual Hamfest is back on 3 September 2022, after missing a couple for events during covid lockdown Hamfest

Free admissions, Door prize drawings throughout the day (donations from local and Ham-related vendors)

Food Wagon on site for morning brew, eats and lunch (support your local vendors). Plenty of parking at the Otero County Fairgrounds, no RV hookups, dump station on site.

Alamogordo Amateur Radio Club is ARRL approved and small-listed nonprofit (needing all the help we can get)

AARC is also looking for items to be donated as door prizes throughout the event
