Huntsville Hamfest 2020 Canceled

The 2020 Huntsville Hamfest has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event’s Board of Directors has announced. The Huntsville Hamfest was sanctioned as the 2020 ARRL Southeastern Division Convention. Full refunds to prepaid commercial and flea market vendors will be processed via the mode in which payment was made. Online ticket purchases will be credited to PayPal accounts. Embassy Hotel reservations will be automatically cancelled.

GQRP Club Online

The GQRP Club has decided to see what support there would be for an online QRP Convention this year to replace the event which would have been held in England on 5th and 6th September 2020.

Central States VHF Society Conference Canceled

The 2020 Central States VHF Society (CSVHFS) conference, set for July, has been put off until next year — 30 -31st July 2021. The conference hotel is not yet ready to accept 2021 reservations. “Be well and get on the VHF+ bands!” CSVHFS President Bruce Richardson, W9FZ, offered in announcing the cancellation.
