National Hamfest 2021

The organisers of the UK's National Hamfest, planned to take place at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground on 24-25 September 2021, will make a final decision in June

We are closely monitoring the ever-changing health landscape, government guidance and roadmap steps coming out of lockdown, and are optimistic that we can arrive at a decision for this years event in June.

Preparations are continuing behind the scenes as usual to bring you the premier radio rally in the UK calendar.

Messe Friedrichshafen, organizers of the HAM RADIO event, are continuing with plans for an in-person event to be held 25-27 June 2021, in additional the DARC is planning a state-of-the-art online conference event

The unfortunately still ongoing Covid-19 pandemic makes the planning of any in-person event exceedingly difficult. This also applies to the 45th HAM RADIO exhibition, where the German Amateur Radio Society (DARC) acts only as the event patron whilst the commercial responsibility and ultimate decision for holding the event is with the Friedrichshafen based exhibition organisation.
