German Team Head to Isle of Man

A team of Amateur / Ham Radio Operators will be active from the Isle of Man (EU-116) between 23rd September 2016 to 4th October 2016

The team will be made up of Heiko DL1RTL, Gunter DL2AWG, Dietmar DL2HWA, Georg DL4SVA, Olaf DL7JOM, Rolf DL7VEE and Wolf DM2AUJ.

The team are planning operation on 80-10 metres, using CW, SSB and RTTY. The team will be using equipment including 2x K3, KPA 500, into Spider-beams and Verticals.

North Korea Operation

Polish Amateur / Ham Radio Operator Dom Grzyb, 3Z9DX, is planning to be active from North Korea (Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea) in the early part of 2016 operating using the amateur radio callsign P5/3Z9DX.

Grzyb has received permission and license from North Korean authorities to operate on 3 bands, however Dom intends to concentrate his operation on 20m only SSB using 100 watts into a GP7 vertical antenna, QSL via his home callsign.

Dom just recently came back from the GXP antenna factory, where with the help of Waldek, SP7GXP, final adjustments were made to the GP7 Vertical antenna. This antenna will go with Dom to North Korea during a December trip together with other radio equipment.

Lundy DX Group 2015

The Lundy DX Group will be active again from Lundy Island IOTA EU-120 from the 6th - 13th October 2015, operating using the callsign MX0LDG.

This year's team will be John (M5JON), Pete (M0ILT), Anthony (MW0JZE) and John (G3JKL), the team hope to be up and running from 1400 UTC, 6th October 2015

K800 Lundy MX0OLDG will be on 10m to 40m SSB & RTTY . Due to the electricity being turned off at midnight until 6am we will not be operating between these times.

The team are endeavoring to run 4 stations for the period of the activation, from Stony Croft Cottage the location of the 2012 activation
