Sovereign Military Order of Malta DXpedition

Members of the DxFriends Team will lead a DXpedition to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) to be active between 15th - 21st July 2019.

Operators mentioned are Tony/EA5RM (Team Leader), Alberto/EA1SA, Gen/EA5EL, Raul/EA5KA, Javi/EA5KM, Manuel/EA7AJR, Jose/EA7KW, Tony/F8ATS, Bernard/ F9IE, Simone/IK5RUN, Fabrizio/IN3ZNR, Giorgio/IZ4AKS, Luca/IW0DJB and Ken/LA7GIA. They will use the callsign 1A0C.

Activity will be on 80-6 meters (including 60/30/17/12m bands) using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8, with at least three stations on the air.

Eritrea DXpedition

The FGC Radio Team (E31A) will be active from the State of Eritrea between 25th May and 3rd June 2019.

Zorro, JH1AJT, CEO of SEISA and FGC (Foundation for Global Children) and the team will be visit Eritrea to participate in the "Eritrean Independence Ceremony".

The main purpose of this trip is to support the Eritrea National Olympic Committee (E.N.O.C). The SEISA's group will "coordinate a pre-game training camp" for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and select students for a scholarship program at the SEISA Kokusai Junior High School and University.

Operators mentioned are Zorro/JH1AJT, Franz/DJ9ZB, David/WD5COV, Johannes/ PA5X, Dima/RAUSU, Sergey/RZ9UN and Champ/E21EIC. Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and FT8 (F/H mode).

A team of Amateur Radio Operators from the Czech Republic will be activating the island of Jersey from 19th July to 28th July 2019.
