Comoros Island DXpedition

Members of the Mediterraneo DX Club (MDXC) will be active as D68CCC from Comoros Island (AF-007) between 21st October and 2nd November 2019.

Their usual inter-national DXped will be on air from 21st October to 1st November. The leader IZ8CCW and the co-leader I2VGW are checking once again all items and so you make the same at home and be ready.

Seychelles DXpedition

Lance, W7GJ, will be active as S79GJ from La Digue Island (AF-024, WW Loc. LI75vp), Seychelles, between 20th September to 5th October 2019.

“All the equipment has been set up and checked and then packed up to go on the plane with me to S79. This is primarily a 6m EME DXpedition, but I have packed a 20m dipole and may also get on 20m FT8 during the first few days of October”

Zanzibar Island IOTA Activation

Zanzibar Island IOTA Activation

The Italian DXpedition Team (IDT) will be activating Zanzibar Island (AF-032) in Tanzania between 4-18th February 2020.

The IDT will be using two callsigns: 5I5TT for CW, SSB and RTTY; 5I4ZZ for FT8 and FT4.

The Team will be comprised of 10 operators. Operators mentioned are Franco/I1FQH, Alfeo/ I1HJT, Tony/I2PJA, Silvano/I2YSB, Vinicio/IK2CIO, Angelo/IK2CKR, Marcello/ IK2DIA, Stefano/IK2HKT, Paolo/IW1ARB and Mac/JA3USA. Activity will be on 160-10 meters with 5 stations on the air.
