Dublin Bus celebrates its 25th birthday

To celebrate the 25th birthday of Dublin Bus, a Special Event Station EI25DB is on the air now up to 30th June 2013.

The station will be operated by current and former employees of Dublin Bus led by Declan EI9HQ and Pete EI4GZB.

PB100, Netherlands Special Event

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the ITU Prefixes, look for special event station PB100PREFIX to be active between October 4-31st. QSL via PB0P.

After the tragic loss of the Titanic (Callsign MGY, the, "M", is from the Marconi company) in April 1912, there was an acknowledgement that there should be international standards for radio communications. Therefore, the leading colonial countries planned several meetings in the aftermath of the loss of the Titanic.

SU30ASR Special Event

The Egyptian Radio Amateurs Society (ERASD) members will be active from Abu Quear - Alexandria as SU30ASR from 24th August until 2nd September 2012.

The special callsign is to celebrate the special event 30th Arab Scouts Camp.

ERASD operators SU1SK, Said, SU1AO, Atef and SU1AR, Ayman plan to operate SSB CW and digital modes.
