Amateur Radio Special Event Station II0CXX will be active every Saturday throughout March to May 2017, during the Collins Collectors Association of Europe (CCAE) Net, at 1000z on 7165 kHz.

This activity is in remembrance of the 30th anniversary of Arthur A. Collins's, W0CXX, death (1987-2017) founder of the Collins Radio Company -- he became a Silent Key in 1987.

QSL via IK0IXI only direct, NO Bureau and NO eQSL.

EuCW QRS ACTIVITY WEEK

THE European CW Association has organised an event to promote CW to new morse operators.

The event starting from 24th April, aim to slow down CW to speeds comfortable for new CW operators to enjoy. The organisers have scheduled the events times to avoid the fast paced contesting events.

SOTA Summit to Summit VK-EU Event

Mike 2E0YYY, Andrew VK1AD and ICQ Amateur / Ham Radio contributor Ed Durrant DD5LP are planning another long path propagation SOTA Summit to Summit event for Saturday 11 March 2017 starting at 06:30 UTC.

Activity will be SSB or CW on 20 metres and going by the last action in October 2016, over 30 summits are expected to be active concurrently over Europe, Australia, New Zealand and possibly Japan.

The following day the 12th March 2017 a VK-North America S2S event is now planned.
