Members of the Denby Dale Amateur Radio Society will be active with the following special event calls between 28th December 2018 and 24th January 2019 using the special callsigns GB0HNY, GB1HNY, GB2HNY, GB4HNY, GB5HNY, GB6HNY, GB8HNY, and GB9HNY.

An award will be available as well.

Israel Amateur Radio Club Xmas Event - HOCOTA

Members of the Israel Amateur Radio Club (I.A.R.C) are pleased to announce the 2018 XMAS activity for its national award program: Holy-land Christianity On The Air (HOCOTA).

The program includes numerous sites with major significance to Christianity - well-known to every Christian and based by the language and citation from the holy books, Christian tradition, beliefs and heritage, as well documented archeology and other researches.

This is the third year of the program and the activity will be commenced during the 2018 Christmas season (25-29th December 2018) by 5 special event multi-operators stations. The current sub-program includes Christian sites from various sectors of the program including Kar Nachum, Caesarea, Jerusalem, Latrun and Massada.

Amateur Radio Special Event Station EI100MCV Ending Soon

As we approach 31st December 2018, the National Maritime Museum of Ireland Radio Club would like to invite EI licence holders to operate Special Event Call Sign EI100MCV before the licence expires.

This amateur radio special event station commemorates the centenary of the sinking, by a torpedo, of RMS Leinster in the final days of World War 1, resulting in the largest loss of life in the Irish Sea.

Any EI licensed operator can operate the call from their own QTH between now and 31st December 2018. Anyone wishing to do so should contact Dave O’Connor EI6AL for further information.

Those who have already used the call can still use the Google doc. form to register their desired Date, Time and Mode.
