GB2DAY is a special event station to celebrate and promote the opening of the Teleprinter Building at Bletchley Park, which houses a fantastic D-Day exhibition entitled Interception/Intelligence/Invasion.

The new exhibition is open from Wednesday 11 April 2019 as part of the general admission to Bletchley Park museum, located near Milton Keynes.

Operating from the RSGB’s National Radio Centre at Bletchley Park, GB2DAY will be on the air from Wednesday until Sunday, with activity in CW and SSB on the 80 and 40m bands.

The 'Northern Arizona DX Association' will celebrate the 50th anniversary of landing men on the moon with the special callsign K7M from various locations including the the 'Meteor Crater National Natural Landmark' where astronaut training took place.

Austrian Marconi Amateur Radio Special Event 2019

The association's board of CARO, the Club of Amateur Radio in the ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) and the Documentary Archives Radio Communication /QSL Collection, will operate, for 72 hours only, a special event station with the callsign OE19M between Friday 26th April to Sunday 28th April 2019 (00:00-24:00 UTC).

OE19M is an official "International Marconi Day" station. Contacts made on Saturday, April 27th, are valid for the IMD Award.
