OT75VED - Victory in Europe Day

The UBA radio club of Durnal in Belgium will air this special callsign to remember the end of WW2.

Our thoughts go out to all the members of the army corps who liberated us but also to the men of the shadows, those of the active and passive resistance and to all the civilians and deportees murdered by the Nazis who gave their lives for our freedom.

We also want to think to the soldiers and to the civilians of the former adverse camp who also paid a heavy price in this war. This special callsign will end on 7th JUNE 2020.

We will be active on CW, SSB and digital modes.

A free of charge special award will be offered at the following conditions :

  • Bronze : 3 QSO's (No dupes)

  • Silver: 5 QSO's (No dupes)

  • Gold: 7 QSO's (No dupes)

Take into consideration each award will be available at the end of this activation. You will receive a pdf file containing all your awards.

TM18JUIN - French special event

Members of the French Radio Club APRA62 (F4KLR) will be active as TM18JUIN during the following dates in 30-31st May 2020 and (6-7th, 13-14th, 18-21st, 27th) June .

Activity is to commemorate General Charles de Gaulle's appeal to the French on the BBC (18th June 1940) to continue to resist the German occupation, refuse defeat and to continue fighting with him in Great Britain, within the Free French Forces.

VU2IIH Indian Special Event

Members of the Indian Institute of Hams, Bangalore Club (IIH) [VU2IIH], will be active as AT2GOK until 26th July 2020, providing assistance in fighting COVID-19.

They state, "We conduct roll call net every day on VU2ZO repeater 145.275 minus shift at 10:00 am, 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm. On HF, 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. We monitor these frequencies at all times for any assistance.

Also to encourage SWLS we do conduct roll call net on Hamsphere 11:30 am on 7070 kHz.
