NZART Memorial Contest 2020

The NZ Memorial Contest will again be held over the first weekend in 4-5th July 2020

The contest was first held in 1946 and its purpose was to commemorate those NZ radio hams who lost their lives during WW2.

So, this year being 2020 it is worth remembering that this will be the 75th anniversary of the end of WW2 in 1945, along with the challenges of 2020.

Hence, the NZART team are offering the chance to commemorate and celebrate by spending some time on the air operating in an easy fun contest with each other.

Indian Special Event Stations

The following Indian special event stations will be on-the-air until 18th August 2020.

AT0, INDIA (Special Event). Dinesh "Pandir", VU2DCT, will use the special callsign AT0II (II=Improve Immunity) from Lucknow, India, to spread the awareness of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Activity will be through 18th August 2020. QSL via his home callsign.

AT2, INDIA (Special Event). Utsav, VU3ZIG, will use the special callsign AT2SON (SON=Save Our Nation) from Habra, India, which was issued by WPC Ministry of Telecommunications Government of India, to show the gratitude and tribute for the COVID-19 warriors during this pandemic situation.

Activity will be through 18th August 2020. QSL via his home callsign.

EIDXG Summer Challenge

EIDXG members (who brought you 9N7EI, 7Q7EI, 5V7EI to name a few), are running a unique Summer Challenge as a fun event beginning 1st June 2020 through 30th August 2020.

Simply work as many unique DXCCs, CQ Worked all Zones, Participating EIDXG members and 32 Irish counties as possible (each one counting just once regardless of band or mode) and whoever accumulates the most points at the end is the Winner.
