The South African Radio League have advised that a European Common Proposal (ECP) for an allocation of 100 kHz at 5350-5450 kHz has been accepted
This process was difficult, as there was a number of abstentions, seven (Austria, Belgium, UK, Hungary, Ireland, Montenegro, Poland) and five against (Azerbaijan, Germany, Romania, Russian Federation and France).
The next phase is for the African group to support the agenda this November at the WRC in Geneva.
