Free Bilingual Practice Bank Now Available for China's CRAC Amateur Radio Exams

Studying for a foreign amateur radio licence is never easy when the material isn't in your first language — or in one you're confident reading technical English in. A new free resource is aiming to close exactly that gap for China's licensing exams.

A bilingual practice question bank for the Chinese Radio Amateurs Club (CRAC) amateur radio operator certificate is now available free online at bg7bag.com.

What's in the Bank

The resource covers all three CRAC licence classes, based on the 2025 question pools:

  • Class A — 669 questions

  • Class B — 1,110 questions

  • Class C — 1,229 questions

That's 3,008 questions in total, with each one presented in both English and Chinese, accompanied by a Chinese-language explanation. Timed mock exams are also available for those who want to simulate the real test conditions.

Who Put It Together

The bank was compiled by BG7BAG, a licensed amateur radio operator active since 1999, as a study reference aimed at Chinese-speaking learners and at operators planning to operate from China. The same site also hosts bilingual FCC practice banks, for anyone studying toward a US licence.

A Few Caveats Worth Noting

This is an unofficial study reference only. It carries no affiliation with, sponsorship from, or endorsement by the CRAC, and the official publications take precedence in all cases.

Still, for anyone preparing for a CRAC exam — or helping someone else do so — it's a genuinely useful free resource to have on hand. Find it at bg7bag.com/study.
