Updates Iceland Radio Regulation

The Iceland Radio Amateurs (IRA) site says the regulator PFS has updated the Amateur Radio regulations

It would appear that Icelandic amateurs have gained the new WRC-15 60m 15 kHz wide allocation (5351.5-5366.5 kHz) limited to 15 watts but lost the 150 kHz wide allocation (5260-5410 kHz) which permitted 100 watts EIRP and had been available by special permit.

There is an error for 7.1-7.2 MHz which gives max power for "G" license as 100 watts, the PFS have acknowledged it should read 1000 watts.

New Zealand get 5 MHz (60m)

Radio Amateurs in New Zealand will soon be gaining access to two channels in the 5 MHz (60m) band

The regulator's SMART database shows that two 60m frequencies 5.354400 and 5.363400 MHz may become available for use in New Zealand with a power level of 10dBW for emissions with a designator code of 2K80J3EJN (SSB).

It is understood that amateurs will have to download and fill out a form and return to NZART HQ before being permitted to use these channels on a Secondary basis.
