RSGB Club Finder Back Online After Redevelopment

The RSGB's popular Club Finder is live again, following the major work carried out on the Society's website during May and June 2026.

The application has been completely redeveloped rather than simply restored. It now uses a fully responsive layout that works properly on mobile devices, and the interface has been made clearer and more accessible throughout.

Clubs should note that Club Finder data is refreshed at 15:30 every Friday. Any changes submitted after that point will not appear until the following week, so it is worth getting updates in ahead of the deadline.

Updates can be submitted through your club's Membership Services portal, or by contacting the RSGB Membership team directly.

Peter the First Island DXpedition Seeks Operators

With the 3YØK Bouvet Island DXpedition now behind them, the same organisers have set their sights even further south — and are looking for operators to join them.

The team plans to activate Peter the First Island as 3YØL in February 2027. The remote, glacier-covered Norwegian dependency sits in the Bellingshausen Sea off the coast of Antarctica, and currently ranks as the seventh-most wanted DX entity in the world.

The team says it is most interested in hearing from hams who:

  • work well as part of a multi-operator team

  • have experience operating in cold climates

  • are able to contribute financially toward the venture

February 2027 may sound distant, but the search is being conducted now so that planning and preparation can be thorough. The shipping container has already been despatched with supplies for the expedition.
