472 kHz and 5 MHz in Denmark

The Danish regulator the ERST has announced the availability for Radio Amateurs of 5250-5450 kHz and 472-479 kHz and an expansion to 70 MHz.

Effective from 1 June 2012 the pilot scheme at 5 MHz will cease, and 5250 to 5450 kHz can be used by A and B Certificate holders using all modulation types with respectively 1000W and 100W maximum output power. Issued trial licenses are valid until expiry.

Denmark will also have an amateur radio band at 472-479 kHz from 1 January 2013.

Additionally ERST announced an expansion of 70 MHz which will become 69.9375-70.0625 MHz, 70.0875-70.1125 MHz and 70.1625-70.5125 MHz
