Ofcom claim to have spent £1.872 million on amateur radio in 2011/12

On Wednesday, following a stakeholder request, they released an addendum to the consultation on setting cost based fees for spectrum licences. It provides a breakdown of Ofcom’s spectrum management costs and invoiced fees by Wireless Telegraphy Act licence class.
