French AM Station to Close

From 1st January 2016, AM radio station France Bleu Elsass will cease broadcasting on the Medium Wave AM band

Director of France Bleu Alsace, Emmanuel Delattre, said the station will move their AM transmissions to the Internet and via Apps for mobile devices.

France Bleu Elsass closure could be the start of upto 10 French MW/LW stations / frequencies that will cease by the end of 2016.
