VERON & Regulator to Discuss RF Pollution

The Dutch Amateur Radio Society has met with the Netherlands national communications regulator Agentschap Telecom to discuss the serious problem of pollution of the RF spectrum by devices such as solar panel installations and LED bulbs

André Canrinus PA3FIS, Chair of the VERON EMC-EMF Commission, has said there were increasing complaints about photovoltaic (PV) installations. In particular, the inverters for the solar panels radiate well above 30 MHz. Due to the high level of interference radio contacts are almost impossible.
