New Icom Firmwares Released - July 2018

Icom Inc. has released firmware updates for the IC-7850, IC-7851, IC-7700, IC-7610 and IC-7300 radio models.

The firmware updates provide the following improvements:

Icom IC-7850/IC-7851 (Version 1.30) Firmware

  • SET MODE has been added to expand the transmission passband width for the SSB data mode up to "100 to 2900 Hz".
  • SET MODE has been added to make the USB SEND/USB keying function active immediately after USB port connection.
  • Stability of the ALC meter has been improved.
  • Output signal for an external display has been improved.
  • Other performance improvements

Icom IC-7700 (Version 2.20) Firmware

  • SET MODE has been added to expand the transmission passband width for the SSB data mode up to "100 to 2900 Hz".
  • Other performance improvements

Icom IC-7610 (Version 1.10) Firmware

  • SET MODE has been added to expand the transmission passband width for the SSB data mode up to "100 to 2900 Hz".
  • SET MODE has been added to make the USB SEND/USB keying function active immediately after USB port connection.
  • Output signal for an external display has been improved.
  • Other performance improvements

Icom IC-7300 (Version 1.30) Firmware

  • SET MODE has been added to expand the transmission passband width for the SSB data mode up to "100 to 2900 Hz".
  • SET MODE has been added to make the USB SEND/USB keying function active immediately after USB port connection. The menu structure has been changed accordingly.
  • Other performance improvements
