SOTABEAMS BOXA-Test

SOTABEAMS has added a new item to their product portfolio - The BOXA-TEST is a set of four different RF loads that can be used for a variety of purposes.

Four loads are contained in one small box.

The loads can be used to calibrate VSWR meters and antenna analysers.

They are handy for providing a confidence check for network analysers. They can be used to compare antenna tuners too and to check baluns too. The 250 Ohm load can also be used to measure the loss of coax cables.

The following loads are included - 50 Ohms, 100 Ohms, 250 Ohms and 5000 Ohms.

The BOXA-TEST is available as a kit or fully built in a smart aluminium enclosure - http://www.sotabeams.co.uk/boxa-test-known-rf-loads/

The SB6 has been designed to be very quick to set up and use, with assembly taking less than 90 seconds. As it has been designed for portable use, the packed-length and weight are low at 55 cm (22 inches) and 700g (1.54lb). The SB6 has a calculated gain of 11dBi and front to back ratio of 24dB when mounted at its design height of 4 metres above ground level. The SB6 has been tested in contests and is a proven performer.
