Radio Shack Photography Competition

Dundalk Amateur Radio Society EI7DAR have organised a Radio Shack Photography Competition.

As it is a photography competition, emphasis should be on submitting a quality photograph. Any shack of any size is eligible.

The winner will be announced at the IRTS AGM 2017 in Dundalk.

ZS1TWO Cape Town 2m Beacon

The Western Cape Repeater Working Group have announced a new 2m beacon has become operational in Cape Town - ZS1TWO

The beacon will operate on 144.435 MHz, and is located on a high building, running 20 watts into a five element horizontal Yagi pointing North-North East.

Local Amateur / Ham Radio Operators Mike ZS1TAF and Ryan ZS1AJ were responsible for donating equipment and installation time.
